Located in a picturesque setting in the grounds of Strathclyde Country Park with views of the loch, the AlonA is renowned for its hospitality and attentive service and offers the perfect unforgettable venue to host your wedding.
Tailor Made Weddings
When it comes to Weddings, our philosophy is simple; all our weddings are tailor made to suit your individual requirements. No two weddings are the same at the AlonA
For smaller parties we have the Atrium area, which holds up to 40 people (4 rounds of 10) comfortably and overlooks the Loch.
Our function suite can hold up to 90 people for a sit down meal or buffet.
Our Banqueting suite can hold 300 for a sit-down meal with a dance floor.
Wedding receptions for over 50 can also be held in our banqueting suite.

If you’re a self-proclaimed laid-back couple seeking a smaller or more intimate ceremony without the traditional formality of conventional speeches and a sit down meal, a Twilight Wedding is a great new option for you. With guests not expected to arrive until 4pm or 5pm, the big day festivities can start with the ceremony itself and in a twist of events, head straight onto an evening party shortly after the newlyweds say ‘I do’.
